Workshop Embroidery

 

Textiles and embroidery, as a material form, reflects the changes in the social, political and economic landscapes in which they are produced.

 

The event will take place in-person.

 

About the presentation and workshops

 

We’ll spend the evening learning about the cross-stitch motif in a community and hear about the history and the present of embroidery.

We will share and show old embroidery works, as a language of expression and modern cultural practice.

 

The presentation and instruction will be delivered with in-person stitching assistance.

The class is presented in Spanish, but the instructor speaks English and Romanian and is happy to switch between languages.

 

Studio 3 PR& BRANDING  will assist with the workshop facilitation for Zadia Knitwear
